There was an update to my World of Warcraft online RPG that automatically started to install when I tried to sign in. But the patch didn't take, and it said I had to completely uninstall and reinstall the program and try to update again.
It took 3 hours to install this game the first time on my 3-year-old iMac, which was once top-of-the-line but now is on the fringe of being the "well, it's still good for word processing" computer.
So I reluctantly deleted the entire game and am reinstalling. Now, the reinstall seems to be frozen.
I will literally be sick to my stomach if I can't get this game to work any more. It'll be like going cold turkey on heroin.
Current mood: Freaking out; really wishing I had a G5

eh, you don't need a G5. just wait till some of those intel macs come out.
