Of course it didn't hurt that that mysterious Hitchhiker guy was hot, with his big wavy '80s hair and leather jacket, back in the day. Sometimes I'd just tune in to the end of the show to gaze at him during his epilogue.

Who were your embarrassing pubescent '80s crushes?
For me, in addition to The Hitchhiker, it was Rick Springfield (yawn) and that guy with Andy Travis hair on "V." (Forgive me, for I was 13 at the time.)
