• Taking the long way home from work to listen to music loudly in my car
  
• 1:10 a.m.
  
• A hot shower
  
• Getting under cold, freshly-washed sheets naked after a hot shower
  
• The sounds of crickets and frogs outside my bedroom's sliding glass door
  
• A good hair day
  
• Drawing
  
• We Are The '80s
  
• A hairdresser's fingers running through my hair
  
• PetSmart, especially when the greyhounds are there
  
• Going someplace I've never been
  
• A glowing-red sunrise over the glassy water of Lake Fairview
  
• Ale House onion rings
  
• A White Wolf coffee over tiramisu
  
• Discovering a cool CD from a band I've never heard of
  
• Amber, tapping me on the shoulder with her paw while I'm in bed to ask me to lift up the covers so she can sleep under them next to me
  
• Tooling around on my computer, 5 a.m., the only light in my dead-silent house provided by my monitor
